ABOUT US

Fri Fon-Ngwa is a children’s advocate and experienced special educator. Fri began working with children over 15 years ago as a child care provider. In 2012, she made the transition as a special education teacher in an urban charter school system in Washington, DC through the Teach For America program.  After a few years, Fri continued to work with young people as an inclusion and resource specialist. Fri has also served as a behavior therapist for children on the autism spectrum. She taught in an alternate specialized school in Montgomery County, MD prior to joining the Gwinnett County Public School system as a self-contained special education teacher. Fri holds a Master’s Degree in Education and continues to be a lifelong learner. She is a lover of music and loves to travel!
